Roads Provide Access

Roads provide land and wildlife managers with the access they need as well as recreation opportunities for the public.

The USFS has been closing forest roads and destroying them so they are no longer driveable. These roads provide access for recreational use of the forest, as well as access for emergency needs and wildfire suppression. These roads are already built, and allow the public to visit these beautiful forest lands.

We encourage the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management to stop this dangerous practice of closing forest roads and keep them open to the public.
